Abstract
In this article, the positive integer solution (n, x) of the exponential diophantine equation (αn - 1)((α + l)n-1) = x2 is discussed. Using elementary number theory methods, we prove that, if a = 2 or 3(mod 4), then the equation has no integer solution.关键词
