Abstract
There are mainly several intermediate stations along the Lanzhou - Zhongchuan Intercity Railway in which the construction standard is high and the investment is large. To meet the requirements of short-distance passenger transport, the turning-back trains shall be organized between two intermediate stations. In this paper, the layout of station type of intermediate turning-back station in intercity railway are discussed. To general intermediate turning-back stations, especially to the bridge type or underground station, additional receiving-departure track used mainly for turning-back operation should be set at the direction of trains' arrival so as to achieve the turning-back of trains at the station when the turning-back operations are less. With this method, not only the transport requirements can be met but also the project investment can be saved.关键词
