Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the characteristic of metabolism and vascular lesions in elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Method: Two hundred and sixty-eight elderly T2DM patients were divided into two groups (102 NAFLD and 166 non-NAFLD). Serum biomark-ers, vascular imaging index and clinical complications were compared between two groups . Logistic regression analysis was performed to evaluate the concerned risk factors. Result; Compared with non-NAFLD group, NAFLD group showed statistically significant increase in BMI , H0MA4R, GHbAlc, ALT, HS-CRP and thicker IMT (P <0. 05 ~ P < 0. 01 ). The risk factors of coronary artery stenosis included TG , GHbAlc and ALT. Conclusion; NAFLD with T2DM showed more serious systemic metabolic disorders , and the risk of vascular complications also increased.关键词
