Abstract

Objective To develop a lower limbs angiography fixture, which is used in preventing limb movement and rotation in the angiography examination and treatment process and maintaining the anatomical position. Methods Made wood chips into soles, fixed a long piece of wood as a support bar at the bottom of the glue, so that the angle of the longitudinal axis with the support bar was 85 degree, joint plus material with the sole plate on both sides with strong adhesive, with two protrudent flank, sewing velcro on both sides. 116 cases were divided into two groups, with and without lower limb angiography fixture, respectively. Analyzed the artifacts and body position vision. Statistics were performed using % testing. Results Artifacts display rate of the group without using fixture was 62.07%, and the position standard rate was 60.34%. The patients got tired easily in the control position process. While the artifacts display rate of the group using fixture was 22.41%, and the position standard rate was 86.20%, with comfortable using experience. There were significant differences between the two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion The lower limbs angiography fixture is simple, easy to use, stable, and can effectively prevent lower limb movement and rotation, is worth of promotion.
