A Study on Occurrence State of Silver in a Silver-Manganese Ore by Electronic Microprobe Analysis

摘要

Abstract

A study on a silver-manganese ore by electronic microprobe was introduced, in which the mineral constitution of the mentioned ore and silver occurrence state were investigated. The results show that the silver - manganese ore mainly contain the manganese sphene and goethite, as well as other gangue such as calcite and quartz. Manganese, iron, lead, zinc, arsenic and other minerals in the ore appear fine grain and they are mutual associated minerals. Silver is mainly in the form of silver element and exists in manganese minerals. Natural silver and argentite in the ore are trace and their particle size are less than 5μm.
