Abstract
Objective To investigate the safety and effectiveness of regular laparoseopic resection for left hepatic lobe. Methods 7 cases received regular laparoseopic resection for left hepatic lobe, including 4 cases of large liver cyst, 1 case of hepatic giant hemangioma, 1 case of hepatocellular carcinoma and 1 case of chronic purulent inflammation. And all the 7 foci were located at the left hepatic lobe. Results The operation was successfully performed in the 7 cases. No conversion to laparotomy was needed, nor did any complications occur. The mean surgical time was (148.6 ±79.5)minules, the mean blood loss was (280.0 ±218.4)ml, the mean postoperative recovery time of gastrointestinal function was (2.6 ± 1.5)days, and the mean postoperative hospital day was (9.1 ±4.7)days. Conclusions Based on the strict surgical indications, careful patient selection and extensive experiences of laparoseopic surgery, regular laparoseopic resection for left hepatic lobe is a safe and effective technique which can give full play to advantages of minimally invasion and cosmetic results.
