老年2型糖尿病伴发精神障碍抗精神病治疗效果观察
Antipsychotic treatment for elderly type 2 diabetic patients complicated with mental disorders

Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of antipsychotic therapy in elderly type 2 diabetic (T2DM)patients complicated with mental disorders. Methods Sixty elderly T2DM patients complicated with mental disorders were divided into antipsychotic group (n=30) and control group (n=30). Both groups were given the routine medical treatment for 12 weeks; small dose quetiapine fumarate and psychological therapy were additionally give to antipsychotic group. The therapeutic effectiveness was evaluated with Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale (BPRS) and FBG, 2hPBG and HbAlc were determined before and after treatment in both groups. Results The BPRS scores in antipsychotic group were significantly lower than those in control group. The FBG, 2hPBG and HbAlc decreased significantly after antipsychotic treatment (P<0.05) compared with control group. Conclusion Small dose quetiapine and psychological therapy combined with routine medication are effective for elderly T2DM complicated with mental disorders with well tolerability, compliance and no serious adverse events.关键词
