Effect on External Insulation of Electrical Power System under Gas-Solid Two-Phase Mixture Discharges
摘要
Abstract
The solid particles were put into air in the gas discharge, which consisted of gas-solid two-phase mixture and investigated by the breakdown characteristics in the non-uniform electric field. The 50 % breakdown voltages ( U50 ) of different dielectric constants and sizes under standard lightning impulse voltage were analyzed. The results showed that the Us0 was lower than that of the pure air and the variation was different as the transformation of the polarity, which was rather obvious under the negative polarity. At the same time the V-t characteristics and discharge paths were observed, and the time delay of two-phase mixture discharges was smaller than that of the pure air, which was decreased to 15 % under the negative polarity and high voltage. Those results suggest that the discharge paths are more complex under standard lightning impulse voltage.关键词
