Abstract
With the development of sequencing technology, the development and application of the chloroplast simple sequence repeats (cpSSR) have become more and more popular. This paper introduced the features, uses and development methods of the chloroplast genome molecular markers as well as the characteristics of the already developed cpSSRs. With the reduction of the development costs and the maturity of the research technique of cpSSils, new cpSSRs are constantly ffeveloped, and more and more cpSSRs are used in population genetics, bip-geography and hybridization. The potential gf cpSSRs in studying the evolution process of wild plants will be fully understood and studied.关键词
