Several Methods for Rapid Determination of Lipid from Algal Culture
摘要
Abstract
The development and utilization of bio-energy is an important way to relieve the pressure of global energy shortage and to ensure the security of energy supply. Microalgae, due to their high growth rates coupled with relatively high Lipid content, have significant potential as a source of biomass for the production of biofuek. Studies on the utilization of algae as biofuels often require frequent determinations of algal lipid content. In this paper, several efficient methods for rapid determination nf rairraalgai lipid, including Nile red colorimelry, copper reagent col- orimetry, Fourier transform infrared spectrometry and GC-MS, have been summarized.关键词
