摘要

Abstract

As a new packaging material, edible film has the advantages of environmental-friendly, nontoxic and harmless , biological degradation and improving the shelf life of food, and it is widely used in people's daily life. With peoples' improving requirements for food quality and their enhanced environmental protection awareness, edible film is becoming one of the research hotspots in the food and medicine packaging industry. Given above, the paper reviewed the research status and application progress of several edible films during recent years, and pointed out their shortcomings and future development tendency.
