Effects of 2-tridecanone,Quercetin and Tannic Acid on GSTs Activities in Clostera anachoreta

摘要

Abstract

[Objective ] The aim was to explore the relationship between three kinds of plant allelochemicals like 2-tridecanone, quercetin and tannic acid and the glutathione S-transferase ( GSTs) of Clostera anachoreta. [ Method ] The larvae of C. anachoreta were fed with poplar leaves treated by 0.01,0.10 and 1.00 mg/ml 2-tridecanone,quercetin and tannic acid,and then GSTs activities in C. anachoreta were determined after 72 hours. [ Result ] The activities of GSTs in C. anachoreta were inhibited by low concentration of 2-tridecanone and quercetin, but the activities of GSTs in C. anachoreta were raised slightly along with higher concentration of 2-tridecanone and quercetin,so 2-tridecanone and quercetin had a certain induction to the activity of GSTs in C. anachoreta. However,the activities of GSTs in C. anachoreta were inhibited with raising concentration of tannic acid, so tannic acid had no induction to the activity of GSTs in C. anachoreta. [ Conclusion ] The result provides reference for the effective control of C. anachoreta.
