Practice and Exploration for the Integrated Construction of Characteristic Specialty and Key Discipline

Abstract
This paper presented the basic thinking to the integrated construction of characteristic specialty of bioscience and key discipline of biology in Nantong University by expatiation on their conceptions. Current status of specialty and discipline development was analyzed, and how to revise a personnel training plan scientifically and rationally was proposed. The paper also discussed how to strengthen the construction of curriculum and textbook, condense the direction of key discipline construction, implement integrated construction of specialty and discipline, and deepen the related reform. In order to construct high level of teaching staff, the mechanism of teaching staff construction was innovated, and emphasis was put on both talent introduction and training. In addition, through innovating teaching administration, taking full advantage of external teaching resources, and optimizing the environment, the construction of characteristic specialty and key discipline effectively were discussed. Based on the aspects mentioned above, the content and achievement in construction of characteristic specialty of bioscience and key discipline of biology in Nantong University were systematically discussed in this paper.关键词
