Abstract
In this paper, we choose Verschueren＇s Adaptation Theory as its theoretical foundation, analyze the causes of cross-cultural pragmatic failures and then put forward some ways to approach them： cultivate the idea of adaptation, enhance the student＇s adaptive ability; teachers should update their views on teaching, perfect their teaching methods and improve the students＇ pragmatic competence.关键词
