摘要

Abstract

A novel wide air-gap permanent magnet(PM) motor for integrated motor propulsor(IMP) is designed, whose rotor magnetic pole adopts Halbach array. Based on the character of this motor, finite-element method(FEM) is introduced to analyze its electromagnetic field distribution in load and no-load condition, and its air-gap flux density, as well as its no-load back-EMF is calculated, considering skewed slot stator and the relative motion between stator and rotor. The calculating results indicate that the designed motor meets the requirements of reality.
