Abstract
Based on Martin＇s Appraisal Theory （Attitude System）, the attitudinal resources in YANG Lan＇s presentation speech of 2008 Olympic Bid are analyzed, focusing on how the author makes use of language resources to encode her specific attitude, how the evaluative meaning is realized throughout the discourse, and how all these factors contribute to the persuasive power and effect of the speech.关键词
