摘要

Abstract

Multiple input converters (MICs) served as the interface of different sources with a load provide the energy to the load simultaneously or individually, which can optimize the utilization of sources, simplify the system structure and reduce the overall cost, so the MICs are attractive for the renewable power system. In this paper, a novel method using the alternative pulsating sources as building cells to derive the isolated MIC is proposed. The basic isolated MICs are derived according to the combination rules of alternative pulsating source cells, and the control strategy is proposed to realize the maximum power transfer, and therefore the basic isolated MICs will be simplified and different types of isolated MICs can be obtained. This paper will introduce the derivation of the isolated MICs using the alternative pulsating source cells in detail. Taking the double inputs converter consists of half-bridge three-level cell and full-bridge cell as the example, the operation principles are presented and the power management strategy is introduced. Finally, the theoretical analysis is validated by the experimental results of a lkW prototype.
