Abstract

The COD variations of sewage from urban sewage-digestive plant and brewery wastewater-digestive plant were extensively investigated. Compared with the sewage from urban sewage-digestive plant, the average COD of brewery sewage was 8 times as high as that in urban sewage, the variability coefficient of month for brewery-wastewater and urban-sewage was 16.7% and 57.3% respectively, and variability coefficient of day in three months for brewery-wastewater and urban-sewage was 42% - 52.4% and 184.4% -391.3% respectively. Wastewater from brewery wastewater-digestive plant possesed relatively invariable COD and with a-bundant nutrition. The result showed brewery-wastwater was the most suitable media, which could produce 108 -109 cfu ?mL-1 spores, with higher virulence to 2rd-3rd instar larvae of Plutella xylostella, the total organic carbon of secondary wastewater from brewery wastewater medium was lower than that of commerce medium when fermentation was overed. Compared with the commerce medium, Bt growed in optunazed-brewery-sewage medium possessed shorter fermentation cycle ( nearly 61 % - 72% ).
