Abstract
Objective Using scanning electron microscopy to (SEM) observe the effect of tooth mousse on porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM) abutments surface. Methods Twenty-three molars extracted for impacted reason were selected. After dental preparation for PFM, all samples were randomly divided into two groups and disposed respectively. The tooth surface of the control group was treated without tooth mousse, and tooth surface of the experimental group was treated with tooth mousse. SEM was used to observe the surface morphology of specimens of two groups after dehydration and drying-Results SME observation showed that abutment surfaces of the control group had obvious stripe-shaped teeth traces, the messy loose amorphous state. Tooth surface traces of experimental group were shallower, and the tooth surfaces were covered by the deposition of dense small calcium group. Conclusion After PFM abutment preparation, the use of tooth mousse can change the micro-structure of the tooth surface.关键词
