摘要

Abstract

Poor contacting of metal-enclosed high voltage switchgear contacts will result in overheating of contact, or even lead to accident of power grid. The heating mechanism of metal-enclosed high voltage switchgear contact is discussed in this paper. Some measures for preventing contact overheating are proposed, such as enhancing supervision and using quality control cards in the manufacturing and installation processes, and using online temperature monitoring devices and rapid arc prevention device to improve the operation reliability of high voltage switchgear, thereby to ensure security and stability of the grid.
