Next-Generation-Sequencing Simulator for Metagenomics by Using GPU
摘要
Abstract
A customizable metagenome simulation system--NeSSM (Next-Generation Sequencing Simulator for Metagenomies) is presented here. By combining all the available genomes currently and some initial metagenome sequencing information, the system can create a simulated metagenome closer-than-ever to the reality. In order to reduce the system running time, we used the highly-parallel arithmetic by using GPU. Currently, NeSSM supports 454 and Illumina sequencing platforms.关键词
