The General Situation of Microscopic Quantitative Method for the Research of Chinese Materia Medical

Abstract
Objective;To promote the development of microscopic quantitative method (MQM) of Chinese materia medical though sum-marizing the applied progress of MQM in the research of Chinese materia medical. Methods: Following the introduction of the brief history , characteristic and principle of MQM, the general situation of MQM for the research of Chinese materia medical was introducted in past decades. Results;It has extensive application in the content determination of Chinese patent drug,the quality discrimination of char-coal drug,the authentication of confusing Chinese herbs and the correlation between the characteristic constant of microscopy and target component of medicinal material. Conclusion; The MQM has unique preponderance in the identification of Chinese materia medical, which is different from the chemical methods. The method would play a very active role in the development of Chinese materia medica.关键词
