旋风分离器内高速旋转流场的数值计算方法选择
Selection of numerical approaches to calculate the high-speed rotating flow field within a cyclone separator
摘要
Abstract
Numerical method has become an important way for studying the flow field within cyclone separators. This paper adopted the method of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to conduct a numerical simulation for the gas flow field of a cyclone separator. It analyzed the effects of different turbulence models, discretization scheme and pres- sure interpolation scheme on the flow field, and thereafter, compared the obtained numerical results with the known experimental data, aiming to find the most appropriate numerical model. The results showed that for the complicated high-speed rotating flow field in the cyclone separator, Reynolds Stress (Low-Re Stress-Omega)Model was a relatively efficient method to predict the movement of the central forced vortex. Meanwhile,by applying the SIMPLEC method,the Second order upwind discretization scheme and the PRESTO pressure interpolation method,optimized simulation results were obtained.关键词
