Solar storm and its influences on human activities on the earth
摘要
Abstract
The 24th solar cycle year is approaching. The solar storm has attracted more and more attention due to the huge loss that solar storm brings about to the modern society. This paper briefly reviews the solar storm and its influence on human society and compares the solar storm in the Carrington event of 1859 and some recent famous solar storm events. The key scientific and technological issues associated with the solar storm are discussed and the measures to mitigate and avoid the loss brought about by the solar storm are suggested.关键词
