摘要

Abstract

The thermal coatings used for satellites are an important issue, related with its performance and its working life. This paper discusses the performance and the particular request of the commonly used thermal coatings. Firstly, we make a review of the commonly used spray coating methods. And then, we analyze the heat performance and the mechanical properties of the thermal coatings and the backing material. In the end, we carry out experiments with a variety of methods. A new method is found, which is applicable to the thermal control coatings for a satellite.
