摘要

Abstract

Based on VLE experiments and Aspen Plus software, the feasibility of separation of dimethyl carbonate-methanol mixture by extractive distillation was researched. The results show that the relative volatility of the system can he increased with glycol as solvent. And the phase equilibrium of mixture in extractive distillation process can be described by UNIFAC model. The influences of the position of feed-stage, solvent ratio, reflux ratio and the feed-stage of solvent on the extractive distillation were studied. The optimal conditions of separation in all experiments were obtained as follows: the number of theoretical plates is 30, feed stage is 20, solvent feed stage is 3, solvent ratio is 1. 5 and reflux ratio is 2. The reliability of simulation was testified by ihe comparison of experiment data and simulation data.
