Explicit model predictive control of voltage collapse in power systems
摘要
Abstract
Because power systems incorporate not only nonlinear dynamics but also discrete events and some discrete manipulated variables, a power system is in essential a complex hybrid system. After describing the nonlinear dynamics, discrete events and variables of power system with Mixed Logical Dynamic (MLD) and Piece Wise Affine (PWA) respectively, a hybrid model of power system is developed. The explicit model predictive control technique is applied to MLD model of the power system to control the . voltage collapse in power systems. Numerical simulations show that the explicit model predictive control can successfully stabilize the voltage, predict and prevent a voltage collapse in the power system, and can respond rapidly to fault situations in the power system, and thus show that the method proposed in this paper is effective.关键词
