摘要

Abstract

The relationship between the element deformation and the inter-story drift was studied to realize the application of inter story drift in performance-based seismic design of RC frame structures. Firstly, the composition of inter-story drift was introduced. Secondly, based on the assumption of strong joints and weak members, the relationship between the element deformation and the story drift in elastic state was established and verified. In plastic state, the plastic reduction factor was introduced to establish the relationship between the element deformation and the story drift. Finally, the relationship between the plastic reduction factor and the ductility factor was studied through comparison between the results obtained by the proposed method and those by Open SEES.
