Abstract
Objective; To study the expression of CXCR2 mRNA and protein in villous and decidua tissues of patients with spontaneous abortion. Methods: The expressions of CXCR2 in villous and decidua tissues of patients with spontaneous abortion (the case group) and patients who had undergone normal selective termination (the control group) were investigated by the way of semi-quantitative reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction, immunohistochemistry method and image analysis system. Results ; CXCR2 mRNA was expressed in villous and decidua tissues of both groups and there was no difference between two groups. CXCR2 protein was mainly located in the trophoblastic layer and glands of decidua tissues. The expression of CXCR2 in villous tissues and glands of decidua tissues of the case group was stronger than that of the control group. The expression of CXCR2 showed positive in the cytoplasm of decidual cells in the case group, while negative in the control group. Conclusion: CXCR2 might take part in the pathologic process of spontaneous abortion by combining with its ligand interleukin-8.关键词
