Improved Haptic Rendering Algorithm Based on Image Feature
摘要
Abstract
In the image pre-processing stage of noise reduction, traditional image feature-based haptic rendering algorithm exists the problem of losing surface roughness information of the virtual object. For this reason, this paper presents an improved haptic rendering algorithm. The improved algorithm adds a noise detector based on edge feature vector before building the noise detector in fast vector filter, which will further improve the accuracy of noise detection and better protect the edge features. Experimental result shows that the improved algorithm can better characterize the virtual object surface roughness subtle information and achieve more realistic integration of tactile and visual force feedback.关键词
