Abstract
Excess sludge treatment and disposal is an important environmental issue at home and abroad. In this study, waste water treatment and sludge reduction using ozone was investigated. The results indicate there is no obvious difference between the treatment system without ozone and the treatment system with ozone. Under experimental conditions, when MLSS is 2 000-3 000 mg/L, the sludge reduction can reach 30 %. Under the condition of the same organic load, MLSS is 1 500, 2 500, 3 500 and 4 500 mg/L, the optimum ozone dosages are 0.095, 0.11, 0.129 and 0.129 g O3/g SS, respectively.关键词
