Abstract
Objective To discuss the perioperative health education of functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS) for chronic sinusitis. Methods A total of 55 patients who received FESS for chronic sinusitis were selected. Nursing guidance was given at the admission day, perioperative, postoperative and discharge day to prevent complications. Results By conducting a planned health education, we achieved expected outcomes. Conclusion FESS is an ideal method for chronic sinusitis. In order to let the patients better cooperate and improve the success rate of the operation, it is necessary to conduct health education at different periods of the disease.关键词
