Clinical effects of hysteroscope in the diagnosis and treatment of endometrial polyps

Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effects and value of hysteroscope in the diagnosis and treatment of endometrial polyps. Methods The retrospective analysis was conducted to 160 patients with endometrial polyps. All the patients were equally divided into observation group and control group by randomized and controlled principle. The control group received curettage for pathological diagnosis and treatment, while the observation group received hysteroscope for diagnosis and treatment. The clinical efficacy, surgery and postoperative complications in two groups were observed and compared. Results The overall clinical response rate was higher in the observation group than in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The average operative time was shorter in the observation group than in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). No complications occurred in the observation group, but there were 6 patients with complications in the control group. The incidence of complications was lower in the observation group was lower than in the control group. Conclusion Clinical application of hysteroscope can shorten the operative time, reduce surgical risks, improve disease condition and prognosis, and is better than curettage in the diagnosis and treatment of endometrial polyps, thus being worthy of wider application.关键词
