Abstract
Objective To explore the effective surgical technique in treating high anal fistula. Methods From January 2008 to December 2009, 110 high anal fistula patients were randomly divided into treatment group (n = 55) and control group ( n = 55). The control group received tying therapy on main internal fistula, while the treatment group received external fistula placement and tying therapy on main internal fistula. The cure rate, recovery time, postoperative pain duration and anal function index in the two groups were compared. Results The cure rates of the two groups showed no statistical significance (p>0.05). The pain duration, incision healing time and the Wexner score in the control group were (15.8 ± 3.2) d, (38.5 ±7. 5) d and (1.310.8) respectively. The pain duration, incision healing time and the Wexner score in the treatment group were (7.2 ± 2.8) d, (22.8 ± 4.2) d and (1. 0 ± 0.7) respectively. The differences between the groups showed statistical significance (P<0.05 or P< 0.01) Conclusion External fistula placement combined with tying therapy on main internal fistula is effective in treatment high anal fistula. The postoperative anal function recovery is good with satisfactory outcomes.关键词
