Abstract
Objective To observe the safety and efficacy of applying water bag combined with oxytocin in later termination of pregnancy. Methods Eighty 28 to 36 weeks pregnant women who demanded termination of pregnancy due to fetal death, fetal abnormalities and pregnancy complications were divided into study group (n = 40) and control group (n = 40). The study group received water bag combined with oxytocin to induce abortion and the control group took rivanol. Results The delivery duration of the study group was shorter than that of the control group (P<0. 05). The residual rate of placental membranes and postpartum bleeding were significantly lower in the study group than in the control group (P < 0.01). The study group had no adverse events in the process of induced abortion. Conclusion Water bag combined with oxytocin in late termination of pregnancy is safe and effective. Thus it is worthy of wider clinical application.关键词
