Method of capacity accurate calculation and dimension reverse of tank body
摘要
Abstract
To calculate the tank body' s capacity and determine the design dimensions of the tank body given the capacity,two tank body' s capacity calculation and dimension reverse methods were proposed based on the NX Space Finder and the entity volume calculation and optimization function. An efficient method is using Space Finder to calculate the capacity and design the dimension reverse algorithm based on it. The other accurate method is using relevance duplication to transform models from assembly environment to part environment based on keeping the assembly relationship. Get the entity representation of tank body's inner space through using of Boolean operation,extraction surfaces and trim body. Then use the entity volume calculation function to get capacity of the tank body. Use the entity optimization function to obtain design dimensions according to the given capacity on die basis of getting the entity representation of inner space. Write special tools through the LG/Open second development. Finally , a case study of volume calculation and dimension reverse of a certain tank body demonstrated the feasibility and validity of the proposed approach.关键词
