Comparative Study on Cellular Ultrastructure of Flue -cured Tobacco Leaves at Different Developmental Stages in Different Ecological Zones

Abstract
The cellular ultrastructure of flue - cured tobacco leaves in Yunnan and Henan was compared by using ultramicro technique. The results revealed that: in the developmental process of tobacco leaves, the cellular ultrastructure displayed basically identical changing rule between the two ecological zones except for the starch grain and osmiophilic globule. When the leaf was at earlier developmental stage, the number of chloroplast and starch grain in the cell of tobacco leaves cultivated in Yunnan was less than that in Henan. At the middle developmental stage of leaves, the quantity of osmiophilic globule reduced, while the quantity of starch grain increased in Yunnan. At the latter developmental stage, the quantity of osmiophilic globule increased, while the chloroplast degraded fast in Henan.关键词
