摘要

Abstract

The Datong coal mining area national economy in China is one of the pillar industries. And a series of geological disasters caused by mining not only threat the safety of the mining area, but also influence and restrict the economic development, which causes a series of social problems and contradictions. The most major mine ge- ology hazard in Datong area is caused by the surface subsidence. As a fast and effective tool for accessing informa- tion, remote sensing is endowed with the advantages of fast update cycle, and little interference of human factors, which can provide the decision makers of geological disaster monitoring with a wealth of objective data, and can also extract the needed scientific data through reasoning, deduction and induction. By doing this can not only en- rich the geological disaster monitoring and decision-making techniques, but also greatly improve the efficiency of decision-making.
