Quality of Life Evaluation with the MOS-HIV Scale in HIV/AIDS Patients

Abstract
Objective To Evaluate the quality of life with the MOS- HIV scale in HIV AIDS patients receiving HAART. Methods Quality of life in HIV/AIDS patients was evaluated by Outcomes Study-HIV CMOS- HIV) and their demographic features and health factors which might be related to HIV infection were also investigated. ANOVA analyses were used to examine the means and standard deviated. Results Two summary scores of MOS-HIV, I. E. GHP and PH Summary Scores separately (82 ± 11.46) and (47.78± 30.32) . The different age groups had lower score in recognized function and psychological health (P<0.001). Conclusion The HIV/AIDS patients who received HAART in Yunnan province have lower quality of life: they should be given not only more care but also social support as much as possible.关键词
