摘要
Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the treatment outcomes of tilted and bicortical placement of implants for the extremely atrophic posterior mandible. Method: A total of IS patients with the extremely atrophic posterior mandible received 22 tilted implants. All patients were questioned for painnumb. paresthesia and satisfaction. Clinical parameters including x-ray examinations, inflammation.occlusioni etc were obtained and accessed in 2 years of follow-up. Result: The bone loss was (0.635±0.1.39)mm in the first year and (0.141 ±0.032)mm in the second year. All patients were not pain,numb and parea-thesia. Ninety-three percent of patients were satisfied with the treatment. Conclusion: Tilled and bicortical placement of implants was successful for the extremely atrophic posterior mandible and achieved the excellent outcomes of the present study.关键词
