Abstract
Objective: A new type of Bracket locator is designed and applied to clinic to testify its effect. We can testify if this new type of Bracket locator has a better performance in bond accuracy,operation time and exclusion time from the clinical observation. Method: 35 permanent teeth malformation patients were chosen as samples. The left side or the right side of teeth was chosen randomly as the experimental group,and the other side was used as the control group. The new type of Bracket locator and the traditional one were applied to the experimental group and the control group respectively. Then we can compare bonding time and bonding error between the two groups. 30 patients were chosen randomly to calculate the exclusion rate. Result: The experimental group performs better than the control group (95.26 % to 85.26 %) ,and the similar phenomenon occurs in terms of bonding time (0.09 h to 0.18 h) and exclusion rate (3.16 % to 8.07 %). The statistical analysis is proved to be statistically significant. Conclusion: This new type of Bracket locator has an obvious advantage in reducing bonding time,reducing exclusion rate and enhancing bonding accuracy.关键词
