Slug regulates epithelial-mesenchymal transition of squamous cell carcinoma in cervix
摘要
Abstract
Purpose To investigate whether Slug regulated epithelial-mesenchymal transition of squamous cell carcinoma in cervix. Methods The protein and mRNA levels of Slug, E-cadherin and ct-SMA were determined in 25 cases of chronic cervicitis 33 cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and 98 cases of squamous cell carcinoma by immunohistochemistry, Western blot and real-time quantitative fluorescent PCR. Results That the protein and mRNA levels of Slug and ct-SMA in squamous cell carcinoma were higher than that of chronic cervicitis and cervical intraepithelial neoplasia tissues ( P < 0. 01 ). The expression of E-cadherin was decreased in squamous cell carcinoma ( P <0. 01 ). Conclusions Slug plays a role in the process of invasion and metastasis by regulating epithelial -mesenchymal transition of squamous cell carcinoma in cervix.关键词
