摘要

Abstract

Micro-Doppler signature of a target indicates the distinctive intricate frequency modulations generated from the components of the target and represented in the joint time and Doppler frequency domain.It provides unique target features.Basics and applications of the micro-Doppler effect in radar will be introduced.Examples of micro-Doppler signatures from rigid body and non-rigid body will be described.Research efforts,challenges,and perspectives on radar micro-Doppler signature will also be discussed.
