摘要

Abstract

The thermal property of sealing rings is the key point of affecting the seal performance. The temperature field on rings of contacting mechanical seals was simulated, according to segregation method and integral method by the software-Ansys. Compare with the experimental results of relevant literatures and choose more accurate simulated results which are gained by unity coupling method. The thermal stress on sealing rings on the basis of the unity coupling temperature field was calculated and analyzed. The research indicates that the transformation of sealing ring increases by the increasing of the coefficients of thermal expansion and the decreasing of the coefficients of thermal conductivity. The maximum temperature and the maximum transformation of sealing rings will be located in the inner diameter of the stationary ring.
