Abstract
A novel biocidal dinicotinate-type pyridinium was obtained by esterification with nicotinic acid and ethylene glycol, followed by grafting onto poly (4-vinylbenzyl chloride) (PVBC) and further quatern-ization with the long chain halohydrocarbon. The product was characterized and analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) , X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and environmental scanning electron misrosope (ESEM), and then the antibacterial activity of it against heterotrophic bacteria imitating industrial recirculating water was tested. Results showed that when the initial suspension concentration was 5.45 x 106 cfu/mL,and the usage of bactericidal resin was 20 g/L,the antibacterial rate was up to 98. 2%. According to the research of regeneration to devitalizing fungicides, it was discovered that if using hydrochloric acid-ethanol as the renewable reagent, the antibacterial rate could reach 97% or a-bove.关键词
