Output Voltage Control of Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell Based on Fuzzy PID

Abstract
In order to keep the output voltage of proton exchange membrane fuel cell(PEMFC)stable, a dynamic control model of voltage is proposed. An adaptive fuzzy proportional integral derivative (PID) controller is designed. The parameters of the PID controller are adjusted by three fuzzy controllers instantaneously. The output voltage is controlled by adjusting the flow rate of hydrogen when the load of the fuel cell changes. The simulation results show that the proposed model can effectively describe the dynamic performance of PEMFC. Compared with the PID controller, the adaptive fuzzy PID controller can control the fuel cell's output voltage reach the set value more smoothly and quickly.关键词
