Assessment of Over Exploitation of Groundwater in the Fangshan Plain of Beijing
摘要
Abstract
A series of environmental and geological problems have been caused by the over exploitation of groundwater in the FangShan plain of Beijing. In order to conduct the reasonable exploitation and allocation and effective management of groundwater resources,and according to the assessment regulation of the exploitation area of groundwater, the status of the overexploita-tion of groundwater in the Fangshan plain of Beijing has been calculated and analyzed using the geographic information system. Five indexes were selected as the assessment indexes, which included the over exploitation coefficient of groundwater,groundwater level, land subsidence,groundwater quality,and groundwater contamination. The results showed that the seriously over-exploited area in the Fangshan plain is 231. 5 km2 ,the generally over-exploited area is 215. 7km2 ,and the developing-forbidden area is 139. 9 km2. The evaluation results may provide the basis for the administration department to manage the groundwater resources more scientifically, rationally,and effectively.关键词
