Nonlinear theory of beam-wave interaction in gyro-TWT with spiral waveguide
摘要
Abstract
Gyro-TWT (traveling wave tube) with helical waveguide has wider instantaneous frequency bandwidth than that with smooth waveguide. This paper introduces the nonlinear theory of its beam-wave interaction. The calculation shows that, the electron efficiency reaches 29% . and the saturated gain is 37 dB, when the working magnetic field is 0. 21 T. the voltage is 185 kV and the current is 19 A. The calculated results accord with that reported in literature.关键词
