摘要

Abstract

SnS powders were synthesized by a microwave hydrothermal method using SnCl2 o 2H2O as Sn source and (NH4)2S, SC(NH2)2, CH3CSNH2, Na2S2O3 as S source under same reaction condition. The influence of differnent S source on the crystallization, morphology and optical properties of SnS crystallity were investigated. The phase composition and morphology of the as-prepared products were characterized by XRD, FESEM and TEM. The results indicated that the as-prepared products are orthorhombic structure except the S source of Na2S2O3. The morphology of SnS powders exhibit quasi-spheres, irregular cuboid and flower clusters structure under different S source. UV-Visible spectral analysis shows that the optical band gap of the as-prepared products is about 1. 48-1. 61 eV. Photoluminescence spectrum measured at room temperature shows near-infrared emission at 830 ran. PL spectrum indicated that SnS powders applying SC(NH2)2 and CH3CSNH2 as sulfur source showed strong edge-emission, but SnS nanoparticles applying (NH4)2S as sulfur source showed mainly quantum connement effect and defects.
