Impacts of Different Cutting Intensity on the Volume Growth and the Understorey Vegetation of Chinese Fir Stand
摘要
Abstract
Researches were conducted on impacts of different cutting strength on the Chinese fir plantation in Xuyong Daan Forest Farm.The results showed that the effects of different cutting intensity on tree height,diameter at breast height and understorey vegetation types,coverage were more obvious,and with the imcrease of cutting intensity the stand volume effect would increase.But when the cutting intensity increased to a certain value,the retained bamboo number in the unit area would reduce,and the volume growth amount would also decrease.Therefore the suitable harvesting intensity in the studied area should be 21%~30%.关键词
